A bigger and Innovative UCB’s season 2

At a grand auction for the players for the upcoming season of United Cricket Bash (UCB) was held in a suburban 5 star hotel. UCB’s 2nd  second season promises to be more thrilling with more teams, innovative rules and the mentoring of players by Jonty Rhodes, a former South African cricketer.

This year will see 6 more teams, one of them Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddique owned team – All Stars. The other 5 new teams are N Bar n Grill, Turf Addicts, Mumbai Dreams, Sailors and NBS Stars. In total 16 teams will play cricket over 23 days on all weekends evenings – Friday, Saturday and Sundays beginning 10th of October 2017.

     

A new venue – Home Turf a 70000 sq feet turf opposite Juhu PVR, backing of Jonty Rhodes who is the epitome of fielding and fitness in particular and the introduction of Double Trouble over are the highlights of this season.

UCB, which is promoted by Fahim Batliwala of Simca Advertising, Akbar Khan of Ballpark Entertainment and Karan Tandon  has 2 dedicated channels of 7 stars having more than 15 lack subscribers. One would be live and the other would be a repeat telecast of the matches.
