कोल्हापुर: समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में निःस्वार्थ भाव से कार्य कर रहीं संघमित्रा ताई गायकवाड़ को डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका और मंदाकिनी के हाथों ‘पॉपुलर सिविलियन एक्सीलेंस अवार्ड’ से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान उनके सामाजिक योगदान और निस्वार्थ सेवा को समर्पित है।

संघमित्रा ताई गायकवाड़ पिछले 25 वर्षों से रिपब्लिकन पार्टी ऑफ इंडिया (अठावले गुट) से जुड़ी हुई हैं और वर्तमान में महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश की मुख्य सचिव (चीफ सेक्रेटरी) के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। उनका कहना है कि केंद्रीय मंत्री रामदास अठावले के नेतृत्व में काम करना उन्हें अच्छा लगता है। उनका मानना है कि रामदास अठावले एक सशक्त और दूरदर्शी नेता हैं, जिनके मार्गदर्शन में वह समाज के लिए लगातार कार्य कर रही हैं।
